Master's Student in Education
Elsa graduated from Tufts University in the spring of 2009 with a B.S. in Engineering Science and Environmental Studies. As an undergraduate student at Tufts, Elsa participated in STOMP, which sparked her interest in education. Elsa started as a Master's student in the Math, Science, Technology, and Engineering (MSTE) Education program program in the Fall of 2009. At the CEEO, Elsa is a co-manager of STOMP (Student Teacher Outreach Mentorship Program). Research Interests Elsa is particularly interested in the impact of STOMP on classroom teachers. Her thesis topic is on the aspects of STOMP that impact a K-12 teacher's knowledge of and willingness to teach engineering and engineering design.
