Development Labs:
The
development labs are designed to empower the participants from varying
backgrounds around the world to develop and test new ideas using the
LEGO Mindstorms toolset (NXT, RCX, Mindstorms Educational Software, and
ROBOLAB) in the STEM classroom. Participants will work hands-on with
the LEGO Mindstorms toolset and explore how the toolset can foster STEM
education for all students. CEEO "red shirts" (
a.k.a. LEGO Mindstorms experts) will be a resource throughout the
symposium. REMINDER: The development labs are not LEGO Mindstorms
training workshops. We recommend that participants have prior LEGO
Mindstorms experience or are prepared to "learn on the fly."
