David Alsdorf is an ethnographic researcher studying maker-centered and play-based learning in early childhood and elementary education. His current research focuses on relationships between making and narrative. His graduate thesis analyzed language used by children to describe the Montessori Trinomial Cube. At the CEEO David works under a LEGO Foundation grant to help develop a maker space for the International School of Billund. He is also a collaborating artist with Project Zero's Pedagogy of Play, and a volunteer teacher in Cambridge Public Schools.
