Barbara Bratzel
Educator in Residence
 

Biography:
Barbara Bratzel is an educator in residence at the CEEO. She is taking a one-year leave of absence from her regular job as a science teacher at the Shady Hill School, a preK-8 independent school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to classroom teaching, Barbara does teacher training and writes LEGO MINDSTORMS activity books for teachers.

Education:
M.A.T. Tufts University, 1990
B.A. Oberlin College, double major in Biology and Mathematics, 1982

CEEO Responsibilities:
Barbara works on outreach, teacher training, and curriculum development at the CEEO. In particular, she is involved with Novel Engineering, Dr. E's Challenges, and summer robotics workshops for teachers.
