I am pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering after graduating from Tufts with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Education in 2015. My research has been focussed on supporting makerspaces in schools and developing technologies that make digital fabrication machines (CNC routers, 3D printers, laser cutters, etc.) more accessible to young students. I am specifically interested in studying how kids learn about engineering design and physics by building musical instruments. I love being outdoors and playing music in my free time and was on a step dance team throughout college that created our own beats by stomping and clapping as we danced.

BS, Tufts University, 2015

CEEO Responsibilities:
I am a research assistant for Chris Rogers.

Research Interests:
My research has been focused on how students learn engineering as they participate in maker-education activities. I am also interested in acoustics and am doing some research on analyzing the quality of music.
