NEW! ROBOLAB 2.9.3 for Labview 7.0 BETA (PC and MAC)

These are the current beta installers of RL 2.9.3 for LV 7.0. These installers add the ROBOLAB icons and tools into your installation of LV 7.X. Once installed you should be able to choose the Investigator 5 New menu from you list of menus and ROBOLAB should appear a s folder under your Tools menu. Mac installer version is currently having issues but you can download and manually install the files for now.

PC

1. You need the RL for Labview Installer - This installer will ask you to find the directory that contains your Labview installation (the folder that actually contains Labview.exe). Download and run ROBOLAB(TM) 2.9.3 For LabVIEW PC.zip and run ROBOLAB(TM) 2.9.3 For LabVIEW.exe.

You will need to install the fantom NXT drivers. You can get the installer here - LegoMindstormsNXTdriver32.msi

If you have problems with :

The USB Tower
- Download Tower164b.zip and run the installer
The Camera
-Try downloading and running the newest quicktime installer from www.apple.com
The Serial Tower
-Try downloading and running the NI VISA installer

MAC

1. The MAC version doesn't come in installer format yet. We have run into some unforseen issues with it and are currently working on it. To install ROBOLAB 2.9.3 for LabVIEW for MAC, download the archive(ROBOLAB(TM) 2.9.3 For LabVIEW MAC.zip) and follow the directions within the archive.

ROBOLAB for LABVIEW 6.1

ROBOLAB for LABVIEW adds all of the capabilities and features of ROBOLAB plus more into your existing LABVIEW software. Currently ROBOLAB for LABVIEW has ONLY been tested with Labview 6 Student Edition.
ROBOLAB for LABVIEW gives you the ability to use LEGO hardware, including the RCX, COntrol LAb Interface, Scout and Camera, from within LABVIEW.

1. You need the RL for Labview Installer - This installer will ask you to find the directory that contains your Labview installation (the folder that actually contains Labview.exe). Download and run rl4lv_PC.zip and run Setup.exe.

If you have problems with :

The USB Tower
- Download Tower164b.zip and run the installer
The Camera
-Try downloading and running the WinDig Installer
-Try downloading and running the Quicktime Installer
The Serial Tower
-Try downloading and running the NI VISA installer
*Note All of the Abe components are installed in the installer. Only reinstall if you have a hardware or software problem

MAC (OS X only!)

1. You need the Rl for Labview Installer - This installer will ask you to find the directory that contains your Labview installation (the folder that actually contains the Labview executable). Download and unzip rlforlv_254.zip and run rlforlv_25. For installation instructions, click here.

Serial Tower is currently not part of the MAC installer. If you need support for the serial tower on a MAC download and install the NI VISA drivers.

Visit the ROBOLAB@CEEO Mac Cam Page if you have any issues with the LEGO Camera and Robolab on the MAC.
