Alison Earnhart has been a science and engineering educator for over 11 years. A two-time "Teacher of the Year"
and a National Board Certified Teacher, Alison has focused on curriculum writing and project creation for high
school engineering classes. Beyond classroom teaching, she also served for six years on the board of directors
for the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS). Alison earned a master's degree in Engineering
Education through the University of Texas at Austin's specially designed MASEE program for STEM educators,
and previously had earned a bachelor's of science in Physics and Education from Juniata College. Alison lives
in Cambridge with her husband Dylan and a large collection of musical instruments. Outside of work, she and
Dylan perform in a number of street brass bands, including Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band.
