Master's Student in STEM Education
200 Boston Avenue, Suite G810
Khushbu is a master's student in the STEM Education program and she comes from a background in Industrial Engineering (Production Engineering) as her undergraduate degree. While it was her job at Smartivity – a startup where she used to make STEM based games and toys for kids – that inspired her to pursue the STEM Education program at Tufts, she also holds an experience of working with Bosch Limited for about a year and a half and as a Lab Lead at a maker space in India.
Her research is focused on experimenting with interactive, hands-on learning mediums and methods to foster learning in science and math. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, reading and solving puzzles.
Khushbu works as a research assistant for Kristen Wendell.
BE Production Engineering, Savitribai Phule Pune University (India)
Khushbu's research interests are drawn towards exploring manipulatives in mathematics. She is inclined towards using kinematic models as problem solvers in math.
