Biography
Infania Pimentel, is a Mechanical Engineering PhD student, having earned her BA in Chemistry, BS in Psychology, and a minor in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico. Her previous research endeavors spanned through pre-clinical and clinical neurosciences. Infania’s motivation is rooted and influenced by loved ones who have been impacted by brain injury.
At present, she serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Bray Lab and is advised by Dr. Chris Rogers. Infania’s research interests are concentrated in the field of surgical and medical robotics, reflecting her commitment to advancing healthcare through innovation.
