Workshops for Kids

In our live interactive online and in-person workshops, we emphasize social interactions just as much as engineering. We hope that students will feel a connection to their classmates as well as the instructor and teaching assistant and learn to work in a collaborative environment. All of our workshops focus on open-ended engineering design challenges. Through these challenges, children learn the engineering design process. They also learn social skills like empathy as they design for clients and they work on critique and collaborations skills with other students. We strive to design activities that allow students to work independently and in teams.
