Biography

Dr. Kathryn Schulte Grahame is currently a Visiting Teaching Professor at Tufts University for Fall 2025 and a Teaching Professor at Northeastern University, where she serves as Associate Director of the First-Year Engineering Team. She teaches Cornerstone of Engineering courses to first-year students and courses within the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. She is a recipient of the Martin Essigman Outstanding Teaching Award, the Excellence in Mentoring Award, and the Outstanding Teacher of First-Year Students Award. Her research interests include service-learning and pedagogical approaches for first-year engineering students.
